Take a look at this cool video below for Edwin Jeans Europe (parent company from Tokyo, Japan). The images and the color of the video are serene, pure; ordinary, yet honest. The producer of the video, Edwin Europe, does a good job of weaving the people of Edwin Jeans with images of day-to-day life in Japan. Happy, working class people making jeans for people like you and me. I particularly like how the video DOES NOT show the cliched crosswalk in Shibuya, nor does it use music with traditional Japanese instruments. Just straight up people and daily life.
If I weren’t so loyal to the Levis brand, I’d be happy to get a pair of Edwins and strut with them around Tokyo.
